Meet My People

Each of these people have played such imperative roles in this journey of mine, whether they know it or not.  To them, I say– Thank you for being you, for being there and for providing endless support. You make this world a better place.

“Happiness is only real when shared.” – Christopher McCandless

My Family, for endless reasons. Your love and support is everything.

My sister, for being my shoulder to lean on, calling me “sissy” still and providing the conversation with humor, whether it’s called for or not.

Stella, for teaching me what unconditional love is.

Andrew, for your depth, meaningful conversations and one-of-a kind sense of humor. Ultimately though, for reminding me “it’s the price you pay for being awesome.”

Dani, for your huge heart, sense of humor, incredible friendship and the house I currently reside in.

My girls- Veronica and Jenny, for laughing, crying and being hungover with me. You are some of the best friends a girl could have.

Jackie, for helping me move out of 2 houses in 1 year, always providing logic and reminding me that if they drink white zin, they’re out. God, the list goes on and on.

Rachel, for being my urban hippie twin, my concert buddy and my partner in crime. Sanne and my AT girls: For getting through the coldest night of our lives together. And Sanne, for just being fucking awesome.  See you out in the world, kid.

Wayner, for sincerity every single time we chat. Be it about books, traveling or something Patio did, you always genuinely care.

My Martha, for just being incredible, insightful and positive. Thank you for always being there. My travelin’ girls, for being you.

Corey, for being such a fantastic friend all these years. Your honesty is both priceless and necessary. Oh, and because we produce photographs like this- quite possibly the most fun I’ve ever had inside of one weekend.

Matty, for shit like this. Also, for letting me lean on you, making me laugh and always being so proud of me and everyone else in your life. You are truly a selfless individual, my friend.

Erin, for your perspective, wit and encouragement. Don’t hurt yourself while I’m gone, please.

Jessi, for being the biggest trooper I know in Guatemala. I admire how calm you are in your day to day, friend. My Guatemala crew. Three out of four of us now have tattoos commemorating that trip. Need I say more?

Alexander Supertramp, for being my hero.
